2026 Upper Deck Inspirations The World of DC is an entertainment card release that is “focused on celebrating some of the most iconic comic covers and characters for fans to treasure and collect.” The set offers fans a mix of base, parallels, autos, sketches, and inserts, with a heavy focus on the artwork of the DC Comics universe. The autograph set features creator autographs from artists such as Jim Lee, Alex Ross, and Amanda Conner, while the sketch set offers original hard drawn images from a selection of artists. The insert selections include a couple of Artist Spotlights looking at the work of Alex Ross and Darwyn Cooke, as well as a fun set featuring DC characters dressed up for Halloween. Matt’s Opinion: This is a smaller product than I originally thought. There are only 4 insert sets to accompany 1 auto and 1 sketch set, meaning that the bulk of the release lies in the base set. The 3 inserts per box is not a great output and fans could struggle to find much value in these boxes. Sets such as these are more for the love of the hobby and of DC rather than any chase for a big card.
