2026 Topps Mars Attacks Xmas – Entertainment Card Checklist

2026 Topps Mars Attacks Xmas is an oddball release that builds on the brand that Topps first issued in 1962. Although that original release was eventually banned from being sold due to its imagery, the brand itself has grown into a cult following that has even included a 1996 Mars Attacks film. This release features the iconic martians attacking earth at Christmas. The release includes a base set that features invasion scenes, as well as a set featuring characters. There is also an autograph set that features a variety of signers such as Chuck Norris, George Takai, and Will Smith. Several cryptid characters who join the fight against the invaders also have facsimile autos, including Santa, the Easter Bunny, and Krampus. Also look for manufactured relic cards, a sketch set, and some inserts. Hobby boxes offer 2 #’d parallels each, as well as a box topper card. A full breakdown of the release will be available at Breakninja.com.

Matt’s Opinion: While I have never seen the Mars Attacks movie or paid much attention to the cards, I can see that this could be an interesting set. The autograph list has some big names that fans will want to chase, and the cards themselves are entertaining. While it may not be a set aimed at investors, this could be a nice just for fun set to open.
