2025 Topps Chrome Sapphire Formula 1 is a racing card release that acts as an elite version of the main Chrome F1 release. Unlike many Sapphire releases, this set doesn’t only act as a parallel set, but adds a selection of exclusive inserts (aside from the Sapphire Selections). Sets such as the Ace of Trades and Helmet Collection add an extra element to the release and something for fans to chase other than the standard Sapphire parallels. Matt’s Opinion: I still don’t like the Sapphire brand, but the addition of new inserts certainly helps add something to chase. The lack of a guaranteed auto hurts the set though, meaning that it is hard to justify the sticker price of boxes. Topps is starting to move in the right direction with these Sapphire sets, but there is still work to do.
