2026 Upper Deck Transformers the Movie 40th Special Edition is a retail release that celebrates the 1986 animated film. This is a small release that marks the beginning of Upper Deck’s relationship with Hasbro, and will be followed up with a later Fleer branded Transformers release. This set offers a small base set, with an equally small insert set. The only hits in the release are a very limited number of Peter Cullen autographs. Matt’s Opinion: This is a cool concept for a release and should be popular. The bigger Fleer release should be especially popular, especially with fans of the Transformers series. The Peter Cullen autos will be even more in demand given his recent death.
